Father's Day at Susan Brown Foundation: games, dance, and a shared meal

On Father's Day in June 2026, the children at Susan Brown Foundation spent time with Dr. ThankGod Amadi in a simple, joyful celebration. The day was not about speeches or ceremony. It was about presence.

Together they played games, danced, and sat down to a shared meal. For children in care at our home in Eagle Island, Port Harcourt, moments like these matter. A kind adult who shows up, laughs with them, and eats with them can turn an ordinary afternoon into a memory they keep.

Susan Brown Foundation exists to give orphaned and vulnerable children more than shelter. We want them to know belonging, encouragement, and the everyday warmth of community. Days like Father's Day help that work feel concrete: music, movement, food, and someone who cares enough to join in.
