Tailoring skills training for our boys

At Susan Brown Foundation, we believe every young person deserves a skill they can carry into adult life. That is why our boys have begun training in tailoring.

The training starts with the basics. The boys are learning to work with paper garment patterns, which help them understand shapes, measurements and how the pieces of a garment come together before any fabric is cut.

Tailoring takes patience and care, and we are proud of the focus our boys are bringing to each session. We look forward to seeing what they will create as their skills grow.
